Jeanie then went on to complete the UBC Real Estate Law and Ethics and Valuations Programmes in 2013. We have been clients of Terra and in particular clients of Jeanie Mahon for some time and are very impressed by the quality of the relationship we have developed. Jeanie is attentive to detail and very willing to discuss new and existing ideas that may improve the likelihood of a sale – including discussions with her colleges to get a more comprehensive, knowledgeable response to points of concern. We have known Jeanie’s family for some time and it’s clear that real estate agency is in the blood – Jeanie has been an incredibly supportive point of contact for our property sales. We would have no hesitation in referring clients to Jeanie – indeed we have done that already, and they have been equally delighted with the outcome. - Bill & Hayley Blevins, Monaco.
I’ve worked with Jeanie on a number of projects. She is simply one of the finest real estate professionals Barbados. Her honesty, market knowledge, responsiveness, attention to detail and sheer enthusiasm are all superb. These qualities make the process of buying or selling a property in Barbados a truly professional experience that is clear and focused. In my opinion, having Jeanie on your side means getting the job done right. Her vast network of the local contacts one needs in buying a property in Barbados have also been invaluable. - Ankur Arora, Canada.
My wife and I first met Jeanie Mahon in early 2016 when we were considering placing our Sugar Hill property for sale through Terra Luxury. From the outset Jeanie has acted with great professionalism and has demonstrated that she fully understands the nuances of the Barbados property market. She is an effective communicator, provides clear advice on property values and has proactively marketed our property. We have full confidence in her and she is a delight to interact with. - Tony Johnston, UK.
Since 2018/2019, the traditionally prestigious Sandy Lane Neighbourhood has gained some momentum with a number of recent property deals and buzzing sales interests. Historically ‘the place to be’ for wealthy families pre-market crash, Sandy Lane experienced a dip in the market for say, the last decade. However, over the course of the last year and a half, the market has witnessed some revived interest. We have found this interest to be mainly in modern and new homes and/or properties with fair asking prices. Here are some to name a few:-
Calm waters, picturesque beaches and some of the finest luxury homes line the shores of Barbados’ Platinum Coast. Here’s a quick look at how ‘the west’ came to have the reputation of ‘where the rich and famous reside.’

In this world of ‘new school’ (post-market crash), business is tough and extremely competitive. Buyers are difficult to find and are very cautious with decision making. While I have only ever known the ‘new school’ world, I am fully aware that the real estate world of ‘old school’ (pre-market crash) existed in a booming market with buyers falling out of the sky.
