Hot Spot - 1.11 East Beach

One Eleven east is owned and operated by an Englishman and his Trinidadian bride, who took a tiny plot of land on a beautiful Speightstown beach and has transformed it into a chic, playful, modern bar where everyone wants to be. This is the perfect location for a delicious coffee in the morning, (the best) rum punches any time of the day or night, sundowners, and for those looking for world-class music, 1.11e delivers this as well. Tuesday and Thursday nights are filled with the sweet sounds of Arturo Tappin and Friends, where the Jazz is what you would expect to hear in places like NYC, Paris or New Orleans. These nights have gotten so popular that you should make a reservation to secure a spot. Then there is sweet Charlie, the couple’s Labradoodle. The ever-present Charlie is always cool and calm and fits into the environment seamlessly. I do believe that he is the most photographed dog in Barbados!
