Seaduced - Luxury at Sea
By Terra Luxury on 15 Mar, 2016
There’s something about water lapping on a hull, wind-filled sails and the gentle throb of an engine, as your yacht slips through calm waters that induces perfect relaxation. When this is combined with all the comforts of Barbados’ newest flybridge-inspired luxury catamaran, you know you have indeed been – as the name says – Seaduced.
Designed with a focus on outdoor relaxation and entertaining, Seaduced offers private, customized luxury day sails. The yacht’s beautifully appointed interiors are spacious and the service of the Captain and his crew (including an underwater ‘tour guide’ and gourmet chef) is impeccable.
A typical day cruise goes like this: Welcome aboard with a refreshing cocktail while discussing your preferred itinerary for the day. Shortly it will be time to set sail along the coast – you will be amazed at how different Barbados looks from the sea – and to enjoy gentle breezes in the shaded open-air cockpit or boost your tan out on the trampoline.
A snorkel stop comes next. An underwater ‘tour guide’ will accompany you to explore a shallow reef or wreck where you’ll meet inquisitive but gentle turtles and colourful, tropical fish.
Then it’s back on board, sails hoisted and you’re off again in search of that tranquil bay in which to drop anchor, enjoy a cooling dip in the clear water, take in some water sports or simply relax on the sunny deck or shady cockpit.
Meanwhile, the chef has been hard at work in the galley. So, after freshening up in one of the chic cabins, it’s time for an aperitif, followed by a delicious al fresco lunch served around the cockpit table or in the air-conditioned saloon.
A leisurely sail follows: to a popular beach bar, another great reef or a bay that’s perfect for water sports. It’s just a matter of choice and the length of your Seaduced charter.
By now the sun has begun to set; the air is cooling and the perfect day is almost over. It’s time to return to land but there will be other days and other opportunities to indulge in a luxurious sail on Seaduced.
Among other memorable experiences offered aboard Seaduced are:
- Land & Sea: a leisurely sail and snorkel with lunch or dinner ashore - perhaps obster and jazz in Carlisle Bay or an elegant dinner at a West Coast restaurant;
- Spa by the Sea: the ultimate in pampering where cabins are transformed into treatment suites with a therapist joining the crew to provide spa treatments, complemented by the peace and tranquility of the ocean. The day is topped off by the private chef’s spa-influenced cuisine and wonderful healthy drinks;
- Sunset Epicurean: combining a romantic evening sail with barefoot dining and fine wines on a sandy beach.
If a day at sea is not enough, Seaduced is also available for overnight or 3-day mini cruises. The yacht has been outfitted with every amenity imaginable for total comfort and relaxation.
Soft overhead lighting, quality upholstery and light cherry wood finishes, give a bright and airy feel, whilst large windows provide panoramic views and allow natural light to flood in. The saloon features a plush u-shaped settee and a large dining table with seating for eight. There’s also a flat screen TV/DVD player to keep the little ones occupied.
The four luxurious, air-conditioned guest staterooms, are bright and spacious with double beds and plenty of storage space as well as en suite electric heads (toilets) and separate shower stalls.
The chef’s galley is fully equipped for producing gourmet meals, while the barbecue on deck is ideal for grilling freshly caught fish or juicy steaks to be enjoyed al fresco. The extensive library of music, adds to the Seaduced experience. For those who must stay connected to the outside world, Wi-Fi is available.
Guests on a private charter can also enjoy lots of water activities: from paddling a kayak or stand-up paddleboard to taking advantage of the full array of snorkeling and fishing equipment. The dinghy with 25HP outboard, offers youngsters fun, laughter, thrills and spills, with wake boarding and water tubing.
Described as “world-class” with “friendly service (and) tasty food” on “an amazing boat”, a Seaduced cruise is undoubtedly a treasured part of any Barbados holiday.
