For most, Barbados is the definition of relaxation as visitors from all over flock to the island to enjoy our crystal-clear waters and warm sunny weather. However, this season, we have so much more to offer. ‘Tis the season of giving and this year the island sure has a lot to give.

The season begins with Carols at The Abbey, an annual fund-raising event held at St. Nicholas Abbey on December 15th featuring local performing artists, including the renowned Royal Barbados Police Force Band. Arts and crafts will be on sale as well as gift items from both St. Nicholas Abbey as well as international and local artisans.

Celebrate Christmas Eve at The Tides Restaurant with an appetizing four-course lunch specially created by Executive Chef Stuart Fawcett. Indulge in mouthwatering dishes such as Chargrilled Mahi Mahi and Rack of Lamb. Not to mention delectable desserts like the Chocolate Mocha Fondant and Three Spiced Crème Brulee.

Join Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman as they host their annual fundraising charity auction K9 Friends. Held on December 28th at The Clubhouse in Royal Westmoreland, St. James the charity brings cohesion to all groups and charities on the island that support canine welfare.

Last but certainly not least is the traditional Christmas Concert in Queens Park. Held on Christmas Day, the event features live performances by the renowned Royal Barbados Police Force Band and other talented musicians. A truly visual spectacle of Barbadians and visitors dressed in their Christmas best.
